VAPES ARE COMING TO GOODBLEND

June 2, 2026
|

Great news, Texas! After a long wait, new regulations from HB 46 finally allow patients to use medicinal cannabis vapes, and we’re bringing them to goodblend. We are so excited to offer you this new solution for fast, effective relief.

Who Are Vapes For?

If you’re a Texan with a qualifying condition, you can talk to your doctor about having your prescription updated to include “pulmonary inhalation”. Your profile must have this update before you can purchase cannabis vapes, and you must have available MGs at the time of purchase.

Why Choose Vapes?

Vapes have a much faster onset than other forms of medical cannabis. While individual results may vary, effects can come on in minutes and can last up to four hours. For rapid relief that’s discreet and convenient, vapes are the way to go.

What Are Qualifying Conditions?

There are over 150 conditions that qualify for a medical cannabis prescription. Here are just a few:

·      Chronic Pain that has lasted more than 90 days

·      PTSD, including severe trauma-induced anxiety

·      Cancer - all forms and stages of cancer apply

·      Multiple Sclerosis

·      Spasticity (muscle spasms or stiffness)

·      Epilepsy or other chronic seizure disorders

·      Traumatic Brain Injury

·      ALS

·      Incurable neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Huntington’s, or Parkinson’s

·      Crohn’s Disease

·      Terminal Illness

·      And Hospice or Palliative Care patients

Speak with your doctor to find out if you have a qualifying condition. Relief may be just a conversation away!

VAPING 101

If you qualify and want to start your vape treatment right away, we’re here to help you find the perfect solution. Let’s talk about what vapes are, how they work, and why they’re a great choice for treatment.

What Is A Vape?

Vapes typically come in two pieces: the cartridge and the battery.

A cartridge is a small cylinder filled with cannabis-derived oil. This oil contains the cannabinoids responsible for relief, which are released as vapor when heated and inhaled. Cartridges (or “carts”) come in a range of strains tailored to different needs—some promote sleep, others boost appetite, and some focus on easing physical pain.

A widely used option in this category is the 510-thread cart, a general, entry-friendly style that’s compatible with many standard batteries and easy to get started with.

The battery is what heats the oil. Your cartridge screws onto it, and with the press of a button, it turns the oil into vapor. They’re rechargeable, and you can easily swap in different carts to target specific issues throughout the day.

There are different brands of batteries with various features and capabilities, such as variable temperature settings and pre-heating. You’ll want to make sure the battery and cartridge you purchase are compatible, and our staff is ready to help you find the right match.

But keep an eye out: there are also All-in-One vapes where the battery and cartridge are combined into one device. You can keep using these until the oil is gone, then simply dispose and find a new one. All-in-One vapes are an easy, no-hassle option!

How Do I Use It?

Batteries will come with instructions on how to power them on and off, as well as using other features, so be sure to check the packaging for proper use.

If your battery has variable temperature settings, typically you’ll have three options to choose from:

·      Low = best for preserving flavor and terpenes.

·      Medium = a good balance of speed, strength, and flavor.

·      High = large, powerful hits with big clouds.

Important Tip: Power your battery off before slipping your vape in your pocket. You could waste hits and risk overheating your cart by accidentally pressing that button.

Other Tips

·      Don’t leave your vape in the car.

·      Store your vape with the mouthpiece pointed up.

·      Avoid over-tightening your cart when attaching.

·      Take slow, steady draws instead of quick, sharp inhales.

·      Regularly charge your battery to extend its life.

These tips can maximize the life of your vape and make sure you avoid clogs or damaged hardware.
